My online GIF animations cannot be stopped.  This is not such a bad thing, because sometimes system troubleshooting depends on ones ability to record data that is constantly in real time.

Record the ISBN numbers of books you find interesting and copy them to Windows notepad.  Print the list and take it to your library.  Library computers allow you to search for books using ISBN numbers.  Many libraries allow members to search for books from you home computer using the ISBN (ask the librarian).
